NORTH EAST CUSTOM FOUR

Durante un casuale aperitivo a Bassano del Grappa (VI) vedo parcheggiata, in bella vista lungo una via del centro storico, una stupenda creazione di North East Custom la Kawasaki Z400 FlatScrambler, ed il tutto mi fa nascere l’idea per questo servizio. Contatto i fratelli Diego e Ricky, ideatori e creatori di North East Custom, che con la massima naturalezza mi invitano presso il loro garage, dove vi assicuro si respira un profumo davvero unico e particolare, e che difficilmente si spiega. Le filosofie “custom old school” e “café racer” sarebbero riduttive per spiegare come e cosa si crea in questo garage. La cosa che più distingue questi ragazzi è la passione per le moto che unita al gusto li spinge a produrre veri e propri pezzi esclusivi. Con piacere ho potuto provare la moto personale di Diego, una Honda CB 750F Super Sport, che già dal sound del 4 cilindri jap mi fa provare godimento. Mi sono divertita a girare tra la campagna del padovano per gustare l’andatura e la progressione del motore, e sentire che quando dai gas fino in fondo ti mette i brividi. Bisogna calarsi nel gusto tipico di guida di una moto anni ’70 ed il tutto si trasforma nell’unicità dello spirito vintage. Alcuni scatti in una zona artigianale per poi rientrare al garage dove gustando una birra si chiacchera di passione e di stile! Grazie mille ragazzi, spero in futuro di poter provare altre vostre creature e visitare la nuova officina, a presto!.

During an informal drink in Bassano del Grappa (VI) I saw parked in plain view along a street in the historic city centre, a magnificent creation of North East Custom Kawasaki Z400, and the whole thing made me rise to the idea for this service. Once contacted the brothers Diego and Ricky, inventors and creators of Custom North East, which quite naturally invited me in their garage, where I assure you breathe extremely unique and particular smells, and that is really hard to explain. The philosophies “custom old school” and “café racer” would be reductive in order to explain what and how they create in this garage. The thing that distinguishes these guys is the passion for motorcycles that combined with taste, leads them to make real exclusive pieces. Gladly I was able to test Diego’s bike, a Honda CB 750F Super Sport, which just by the sound of the 4-cylinder jap makes me feel a lot of pleasure. I had fun shooting in the countryside of Padua to enjoy the pace and progression of the engine, and feel that when it gives fuel all the way down puts you the creeps. You have to immerse yourself in the classic taste of riding a 70s motorcycle and everything is transformed in the oneness of the vintage pep. Some shots in an industrial area and then back to the garage where we chatted while enjoying a beer with passion and style!
