…dear followers I believe it has come the time to introduce RUVIDA… this is the new trademark that I have chosen to sign the bike that I’m going to accomplish together with Albi. The name I honour my personality, and likewise the combination of biker and motorcycle. In the customization I think it is essential to combine three major factors such as mechanics, technique and taste, making them become style, but in any case the thing that most matters to me is that it’ll be my motorcycle! The project start from the base of a 1978 BMW R 100/7, a classic and sought bike, a model and an engine with no time, it’s an always loved bike since its first launch and that’s why it still lives moments of absolute celebrity. It is right from here that my new adventure begins, and why not be absolutely confident about the fact of being a marvel! I can assure you that the passion and dedication are the basis of this creation, and to realize a dream is the most beautiful thing in the world!……
…another post to talk about the “RUVIDA” project …sadly at this time of the year we see lots of heavy rain causing lots of damage in our lands. Therefore, not having the possibility to do test rides, I concentrated on the development of my Bmw. Despite the engine of the Bmw has always been considered strong and almost enduring, I preferred the “phase two”. This brought first to the entire disassembling of the motorcycle, starting from its mechanical parts subject to wear, then to the entire disassemble of the engine. The procedure would have helped me to better understand the condition and the possible wear of all its components, both for the external and internal to the engine. And in spite of being always a trauma seeing the beating soul of a motorcycle blown apart I was very satisfied. I cannot tell you right now the positive and negative – that luckily the negative bits are just a small part of it. Its components, which I call the load-bearing, are in good conditions, in any case it was impossible to find everything brand new… sure enough the odometer doesn’t lie!…you can see that the odometer lines are visibly worn…but I’ll change that too!!! I’ll then consider to have a brand new engine together with all the other parts, maybe with guarantee! I don’t want to explain much now but soon there’ll be the final decision for the customisation of the chassis and aesthetic.. I just tell you in advance that surely I’m not going to follow the trend…just think about what it could come out of it! …I’ll see you soon..
